How to Create a Peaceful and Sexy Lifestyle

Recently, I was scrolling through my Pinterest feed, as I often do, and came upon a tweet that Pamela Anderson, someone who I absolutely love and consider a muse of mine, created back in 2019. A simple tweet mentioning how everyone should enjoy a peaceful, sexy lifestyle with a corresponding picture of a beautiful sea of water. This made me take a moment to reflect on Pamela Anderson’s current lifestyle as someone who is in her late 50s, owning a multi-property estate, having a newfound passion for gardening and cooking, staying out of controversy, and living life on her own terms, thus making her lifestyle peaceful.

On the contrary, she had her heyday of being one of the sexiest bombshells and, even in 2025, she embraces the aging process and goes to various red carpets wearing little to no makeup; this confidence makes her live a sexy life as well. So surely, Pamela Anderson is definitely living a peaceful, sexy life that she tweeted about.

This tweet made me think of other women I look up to who are living a peaceful, sexy life, and a few came to mind:

  • Tracee Ellis Ross is the perfect example: she embraces being single and childfree in her 50s, fully enjoying her own space while encouraging others to travel solo and pour into themselves completely.

  • My favorite cool girl, Kelis, is another woman who once lived in the spotlight but chose to step back, move to Kenya, and purchase acres of land. She spends her leisure time broadcasting her peaceful life on her socials, embracing an organic lifestyle supported by the whole, natural foods she grows herself.

  • The singer Mya, who lives this lifestyle by staying out of drama, quite literally marrying herself, committing to a healthy lifestyle, and making it a priority to continually pour into herself.

  • Lastly, Ms. Eartha Kitt lived unapologetically and on her own terms, no matter who tried to bring her down. She loved to dance, was well-traveled, spoke multiple languages, and fully embodied the spirit of this lifestyle, being true to yourself, boldly and without compromise.

All in all, this lifestyle is all about being on your grown woman-ish. It’s about setting boundaries, pouring into yourself fully, and leaving the chaos and drama for tranquility. In this blog post, I want to speak about how all of us can curate this lifestyle for ourselves.

Step #1: Discover who you are.

Living a peaceful and sexy lifestyle starts with self-discovery. It starts with putting yourself in uncomfortable moments of solitude that allow you to truly understand your quirks, your likes, and your dislikes. It might sound like common sense, who doesn’t know themselves, right? But the reality is, there are a bunch of people who spend every second of their lives surrounded by others, often people who are bad for them, simply because they can’t stand being alone. Without cultivating a relationship with yourself, you can’t live this lifestyle.

Women who embody a peaceful and sexy lifestyle are deeply in tune with themselves. They know what they want out of life, out of relationships, and everything in between because they are genuinely content in their own space. Due to this contentment, it’s almost impossible for them to let anyone into their world who could harm their mental health or disturb the peace they’ve built for themselves.

That’s why Mya ended up marrying herself and has been celibate for seven years; she honors herself so highly that she refuses to let just anyone disturb her peace. It’s why Tracee Ellis Ross, despite wanting a relationship, marriage, and kids, hasn’t settled for someone who wouldn’t make her life even more fulfilling than it already is. These are women with such a high level of self-worth and contentment that they refuse to accept the bare minimum in their relationships, a standard they’ve built by spending time alone and discovering themselves.

A Gem from Faith: Never seek relationships of any kind, and instead, let people come to you. It’s a common spiritual practice that the more you pour into yourself, the more likely the right people will naturally manifest into your life.

Step #2: go Outside (Literally).

There’s a common thread with a lot of the women who embody this lifestyle, and it’s that they all seem to enjoy the outdoors. They have a deep appreciation for nature and the world in which we live, and they don’t take it for granted; hence, the picture that Pamela put in that tweet being a body of water. We live in a generation where so many people overlook the beauty of nature because they’re engulfed in their cellular devices, spending their entire leisure time scrolling through social media instead of taking a walk. They’re so hyper-focused on someone else’s life that they forget to truly live their own and soak in the world around them. This is why it’s important to get sunlight, appreciate your surroundings, and incorporate more outdoor activities into your life.

Whether it’s going out of your comfort zone and going on a solo picnic or even something as simple as going on ten-minute walks during your lunch break, this all counts. The outdoors naturally shifts your mood, slows down your mind, and reminds you there’s more to life than constant noise, social media, and stimulation. And the more you tap into that, the more your life starts to feel both peaceful and sexy without you even trying.

Step #3: Eat a healthy Diet.

I’m not here to force veganism on anyone; it’s definitely not a requirement for embodying this lifestyle. However, eating healthy does make you feel good, which naturally makes you feel both sexy and peaceful (because, believe it or not, the foods you eat can have a huge impact on your mood). Every one of the muses mentioned in this blog post emphasizes nourishing themselves with whole foods and keeping junk to a minimum, and I’m sure that plays a major role in how they’re able to maintain this way of life. Plus, eating well keeps you looking youthful, and we all know that radiance is a big part of looking and feeling sexy.

I recently took a course this summer that highlighted the benefits of keeping a food diary, tracking what you eat and how it makes you feel, and I would highly recommend everyone to start doing this. The goal is to become more aware of which foods energize and nourish you versus those that leave you feeling yucky and depleted. Drink more water, eat your greens, take your supplements, and stay disciplined with your diet. Living this way is all about catering to yourself, and you can’t do that if your meals mostly consist of sodas and salty chips.

A Gem from Faith: Living a peaceful and sexy lifestyle means enjoying indulgences in moderation, so having a cupcake or a cheesy Parmesan pasta every now and then is perfectly fine. It’s all about balance, not constant restriction.

Step #4: You need two hobbies.

The first hobby should be something educational that can also enhance your personal brand, think learning a new language, cooking, pottery, or sewing. While all hobbies are fun, educational ones get your brain working and give you something you can speak about in depth, both personally and professionally. The second hobby should be focused on movement; ballet, yoga, pole dancing, running, whatever gets you moving! Hobbies that burn calories help us stay balanced and relaxed throughout the day, which supports this lifestyle.

It’s mundane and doesn’t embody a peaceful, sexy lifestyle when all you do is go to work and go home. You have nothing to look forward to, no activities bringing you joy, you’re just living a boring, unenjoyable life! I think there are a lot of people in the world who are depressed because they believe they need friends or fear missing out on parties to have a fulfilling life, when really, all you need are hobbies you genuinely enjoy to get excited about life again.

Hobbies are something many of the women I mentioned partake in, which often keeps them off the grid. They’ve found activities that bring genuine joy and peace, one that absorbs their focus so fully it’s hard to distract them while they’re indulging in it. This can help you cultivate greater appreciation for yourself.

A Gem from Faith: A woman who’s multi-dimensional in terms of her likes automatically makes her sexy, so have as many hobbies as possible!

Step #5: indulging in pleasure.

Pleasure is about indulging in something that makes you feel good, something that gives you that instant serotonin. It’s not a hobby; hobbies are about growth, skill-building, or long-term enjoyment, while pleasure is about savoring the moment, treating yourself, and experiencing joy in the now. It’s the little things that make life feel luxurious, peaceful, and, of course, sexy.

It’s self-care. Treating yourself to the spa once a month or buying a pair of designer shades as a ‘just because’ gift. It’s taking long bubble baths every day after work or enjoying takeout from an expensive restaurant. Pleasure is all about spoiling yourself, dating yourself, and creating a lifestyle so appealing, so attractive, so sexy that anyone entering your life has to match the energy you already give yourself. Experience courting yourself and showing yourself the appreciation you deserve.

Step #5: You Gotta Have Fun!

The women who embody this lifestyle genuinely live fun, exciting lives. They can go on and on about their experiences, whether that’s traveling, meeting fascinating people, or trying new things. Outside of eating healthy, indulging in hobbies, and maintaining consistent self-care, they still prioritize a fulfilling social life and make time for enjoyment. They take the “you only live once” motto to heart, making sure they savor every bit of life. People nowadays take life way too seriously, and that’s just not what living a peaceful and sexy lifestyle is about!

Start saying yes more, travel to places you’ve never traveled to before, host dinners with your friends, go to jazz clubs during the weekend, explore a new city just because, meet new people, date new people, drop people who don’t mesh with you; experience life and enjoy all that life has to offer! Although I hate this phrase, life really is short, and it’s important to make the best out of it by doing all that you can to curate a fun, exciting, spontaneous lifestyle, which is inevitably what living a sexy, peaceful life is!
